hey vladi, glue, mono , frank ,norm jaetee --
and all you other pro box photographers --
in case you have an SCR-8

can you show how to make it look exciting ??
i was trying to take some inviting shots for an ebay listing -

but - as great as this box really is --
the design is so ' over-clean ' |-) |-) :-D
that its some big trick to make it look -- not boring

its just a big square brick !!! ----with all flat sides and square flat grills--
hardly any chrome or color ,,,,,,,,

without those huge LEDS --there is NOTHING to shoot at
right ??? :-D

you should replace whatever phone you own with an iPhone 4S, which currently has the best camera of any cellphone, and use it to shoot HD video of that box with its LEDs going off. Then post the video on Youtube and put a link to it into your Ebay auction.

Some times overview shots are not the way to go.
Take close up shots of the more interesting sections of the radio.
For instance the tweeter grilles are really unique. Take a shot that emphasizes that section of the box.
The cassette door glass , you know !
Zero in on the kool sections of the box.
And square semetrical shots are sometimes boring as well.
Rotate the camera a bit that sometimes adds some excitement to a product photo as well.
What hurts this box is the flat face. Not enough angles and depth that some boxes have.
How about a different back drop other than the bed of your truck as well

bill --to me - that just so-so ok --
second one is much better
with no chrome //no color --NO BIG THRILL

1st one is older pic with 3 mega pixel phone camera. Your pics on eBay look good except 1st because of yellow coloring. Otherwise I would just leave them. You know what really sells is a good video of it in action :sin:
