At least you're the only one with a boombox at work. I took one of mine to work the other day and fired it up. 10 minutes later, another guy brought his crappy but loud 'black egg' in and insisted on playing different music at the same time. :no:

I eventually gave up and turned mine off. :-/

Brought the Sanyo to work today. Took one look at the warzone of a jobsite and said to myself, "I dont' think so." :nonono:
But it's safe at home with me now! :-D

I missed any special festivities for this years IBBD, but i did have a nice incident on the walk home.

Was blasting a very big black box on the walk home and a few skater scallywags were hanging out on a corner of the street.
They were kids, aged about 10-15. As i went past the oldest one yells out "Dude!! Thats the coolest boombox! Did you see that? You RULE man!"
.. i censored out a lot of the other expletives.. but the kids were dead over it. Of course I thanked them and told them to rock on, so I spread
some extra boombox loving on IBBD 2013 at least.
