Interesting information on Exciter "Speakers".

I'm not sure how many of you know about exciters so I thought I'd post a link with information on them.
I might be a little out of touch but I've never heard of them until just before posting this and found them really interesting.
I thought some of you may be able to use them for projects.
I'm not affiliated with, work for or have anything to do with Dayton Audio, it's just the place where I found the information.

I'm thinking it would be cool mounting several of these to the back of a shower stall.

These have been around for over 20 years. In car audio these are known as bass shakers. You mount them to a hard surface or under a seat and it allows you to feel the bass.

I've seen flat panel speakers made by just mounting the audio exciter to a rigid foam panel.

i think we all are lad......most of us are still buying things from the 80's......i still can't get used to the fact a grand is nothing now lol....hell in my day all i had was 30 quid a week for working lol....i;m starting to think i;m an old fart like redbenjoe is now lol
