Hey Joe,

You and I have had many dealings over the years, reproduction straps, boombox deals, parts (I think)...I can only speak from my experience and your a square dealer. It seems like the outside work is full of "What Ever's", but in here, we got each other back! That is a strong point of this site!

I closed my Fakebook account a couple of months ago...life has been great since then and the friends that are important to me are a big part of my REAL daily life ;-)

I have seen a lot go on here over the years and it always plays out the same, the cream rises to the top and the trouble makers fade away or get banned.

There are people that are living the "Boombox Lifestyle". That does not include quick flips on eBay, selling junk boxes with poor descriptions or publicly bad mouthing other enthusiasts when the moment suits you.

What it does include is:
Collecting for the love of it
Sharing, trading, bartering, selling, buying and doing so on a SQUARE DEAL
Fixing, cleaning and repairing
Taking your radio out to locations where you can share music
Spreading the boombox culture as a positive good will ambassador

Of course the list can go on and on, but it should never EVER be hurtful or aggressive, once you've crossed into that territory...POOF! You're Gone!

I completely agree with you Chris. I know who Joe is talking about and the guy has some major issues. Hopefully you can get him out of your life.

I sent the last of his order yesterday. We made a deal and even with the words that were spoken to, and about me and my family, I still honored my end of the deal. But we agreed to not speak of eachother again and be on our way.


I'm cool with that.


Live and learn, moving on.

I'm not going to post anything to get him riled up towards me again. I have real life family things to worry about not boombox stuff, so between him and I we have finished our boombox deal and went on our ways.


If he wants to check this thread I would rather him see that we resolved whatever we needed to.


I'm just posting in here to thank you guys for the support but will not comment on the actual situation anymore. Everyone is free to post as you wish, I just don't want retaliation towards me because of other members posts.
