Well I'm hosting a Windows 7 launch party on the 24th of October waiting for my Party pack to arrive later today on UPS.At the very least I will get the Windows7 Ultimate Signature edition for my trouble.

wow that's cool Nelson! i wish i could attend! i love those Windows 7 commercials. how does one even become an official Microsoft party host? after you've played around with your Ultimate Signature Edition, let me know if it'll run XP programs so i can upgrade.

I've been using Windows 7 for about 11 months now,Started as Beta tester 1-2 into RC1.In my case I only have WindowsXP programs since I've been using XP since 2001 and all my XP programs run on Windows7 including all my games,my Office 2003 Pro,my kids Encarta 2007,Resume maker 04 etc....Very solid performance... Cool interface simply Awesome MS hit it out for the Park with this one.

As for becoming a Party Host it is now closed. I believe they got a list of potential host from the Beta tester pool but not sure.Pretty rare chance to host but I was selected.My Windows 7 will be limited edition as it is signed by Steve Ballmer.I will get the Packaging sleeve with Signature, 2 disk set 1- 32 bit Windows7 Ultimate... 1 - 64 bit Windows7 Ultimate.

Hi Nicole-It's Windows new operating system which is replacing Vista and the XP operating systems for PC computers.
I've heard nothing but good things about this operating system.
