I want to mount a Discman to a boombox (without skipping)

Is there any way I could use a car mount for a 90's discman to attach to a ghettoblaster, and play without excessive skipping?

Get one of those tablet holders used to mount in your car, modify it and attach it to your box. You may need to find a Sony Sport Discman, which skips less than regular ones.
