Well, I'm back in Japan....had a good flight over on JAPAN AIR LINES.

So let the games begin. Next week after the stage 4 typhoon passes this weekend, I'll be hitting all the local thrift stores looking for RADIOS!

I'm trying to work a deal to get some radio's shipped from Yahoo.Jp as well if I can get a good address to ship too (only have military APO po box right now and domestic shipping rates apply).

We'll see what we can come up with!

So who's watching your baby's

Much like other important items of mine (i.e. gun, car keys) they are locked in a "Strong Room" in my house. Can they be stolen? Yes they can, but someone would have to make some serous effort to get to them. All of them are locked up as tight as I can make them.

I also have a computer running with a camera staring at the door that protects them all and I have a computer program that I can access on the computer I am using as well as my cell phone that I can use to look at that door right now.....

I'd like to explain more, but I have to check on my radios!

Seems people are under the misperception that Japan is like the US, UK or wherever else and boxes can be found in the wild for next to nothing...

Not saying it can't happen, but it's pretty unrealistic to me, mainly 'cause you're a foreigner on their soil... If you're on Yahoo Japan, that's a different story...

I'm no longer on the mainland of Japan, I'm now in Okinawa. But there are LOTS of thrift / junk stores and a huge "Antique Mall" that I want to go to.

BUT....Right now we are in the first stages of a MASSIVE typhoon (video coming soon!) So for the next few days we're locked down! I was just at the sea wall, one block away and it's getting crazy out there.

BTW, are those Big Yellow Phillips 3 speaker radios water proof? I might need one!

As soon as we get past this, I will be out searching!
