I feel like I should have gone for this one... Cool looking Sony.

Any of you guys heard this model before?

How does it compare to the sonic signature of JVC M70, Aiwa TPR 950/955, Sanyo M9990 or Sharp GF 9191?

my memory//guess is that they ALL sound lots better than the sony

not to compare to the like of the m70 its a good basic box sounds ok but looks good that the only thing going for it ,,now if you move up to the 77,88,99 yes they sound alot better

Tone only boxes are tough..not much sound control. That one was super tempting at that price though.

I have the same CFS-66 in like new condition!

Very good looking box with average sound quality. I got all those series from CFS-66 to CFS-99.

The big brother CFS-99 is very good looking and got decent quality sound with some bass. The design of CFS-99 is very unique.

Thanks... The presence of only a TONE control instead of separate bass & treble should have been my clue.
