:-) yep this Christmas I'm getting a tattered and worn out ginger tabby cat. It only cost my wife 2700 dollars and it could die at any second but it's a endearing creature. So in other words the old guy decided to break his leg earlier this week after deciding to bolt under the fence while one his supervised walk . A dog went to check him out and he flipped out and broke his leg coming back through the fence. So long story short the emergency pet clinic offered to save his life for the meter sum of 2700 dollars. They put a plate in his leg and he is doing ok. I mean there's no way I could have put the beast to sleep. He's old but his mind is still good and overall he's in pretty good repair. Needless to say I would have preferred not to have put the money out for this at all but there was only one choice.

I mean I might be 100 someday and break my leg I sure as hell would not want someone to shoot me

It's not over yet bill. I mean I'm thinking he's gonna make it but he's pretty old. I mean this for sure is life number nine for the crusty old bastard. This cat was pulled starving from a dumpster almost twenty years ago. As a very strange coincidence he broke his leg three years to the day my white cat died. This is the sixth Christmas a cat has cost tons of money in the last decade. Honestly I wish him well in his recovery and I wish the other cats here a long happy life but, :   I've done my bit for the unfortunate felines of this world. I will never and I mean never procure another cat again....... Hmmm seems like I said that one a few times now :-D
