I only called it a clunker, because it needs so much work: overall cleaning, switches and pots cleaned and lubed, new belts. etc.
But maybe the seller is honest, and its as good as others that were listed as "minty."
The front face seems in good condition...
I don't remember much about Montgomery Wards. My parents bought a Zenith TV there (it worked forever), and I remember these funny lamps called "rain lamps" that had oil slowly driping down nylon line. The oil was pumped back to the top so the process was continuous. VERY trippy...
