This thing is a beast!
It was worth the trip. Fully working tape deck and CD player. It even has separate phono input with a ground screw in the back. It's a different type of design from my other early 80s boxes and I like it. Manufactured in 86.

Happy you got it! It's an awesome bargain A collectable item for the ones that collect early CD players and James Bond nuts. And some bbx nuts too lol

If you like the model... There is also the D8554 that has an extra woofer instead of the CD player.

Be carefull with the tape deck tho. There is a genuine Philips quality gear inside thats about to loose a couple of teeth
