Hope you opened the windows......you can easily get cancer by breathing melted plastic. I would also get a new burner coil, they're plug-and-play in most cases.

P.S. If that was a 3 piece before it's now a 2 piece with the fused bottom. That makes it RARE and EXPENSIVE!!!!!
