I have this sweet CD/Tape boombox I am selling for a client & was wondering how old it is... I am considering buying it from him as I like it so much... Sounds incredible for a boombox! It has a removeable bass speaker setup which I never saw before...

Added Photos...

The main battery compartment is clean but the memory compartment is corroded... what is the best way to clean the corrosion? I need to use electronic cleaner on the volume as it cracks but other than that it looks like everything is working! This boombox has alot of features which I like. The bass volume is sweet. I haven't hooked up my MP3 Player to it yet.

Any idea what I should offer my client for it if I decide to buy it? I have no idea what these would sell for and any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

The DBSS is amazing... nice deep bass response, the main reason I want the beast... :breakdance:
This thing is HEAVY too!

On one of the photos there is a mix level control. This is on the removeable base. What is this for?

mix is for when you are for example recording from radio or phono and connect a mike to the mic in,

the level you want to mix it with the first source mentioned.

Why the removeable base?? Maybe to make it more mobile??! (why tho - kills the bass!)
Is this a feature on other boxes?
