PICKED UP THIS BOX AT THE TRASH MARKET LAST WEEK HITACHI TRK- 8610 , NICE LOOKING BOX TOP CONDITION , NEEDS BELT REPLACEMENT VERY COOL I THOUGHT

Beautiful. Great catch, that model is a personal grail of mine. I'd love to find one myself. There's one for sale on eBay but it's in China and the seller wants $600 for it. Congrats on your find!

Nice box, I bet it sounds great too!

I still think the TRK-8080 is the best looking Hitachi though IMHO.

That's totally excellent. I've never been able to understand why the 8610 had different handles to the 8600 though.
It's a superb box with super sound and the LED meters look fab. Such sweet bass.
