What I have found:
- a JDM model only, very rare even in Japan.
- It is definitely rarer than the 820 / 824 but there are some Youtube videos.
- It has a lever system linked up to the buttons below the deck - you set the program with the soft touch buttons and then the mechanical buttons are automatically pressed as if an invisible hand is pressing them... Very interesting like an automatic gearbox. I don't know all the functions but definitely on another level from the regular search. It reminds me of the block replay in the JVC PC55 except that one is all electronic.
- it has what look like bass ports at the bottom; but the back is still open...
- it is only mentioned this site as the rarest of all boxes - http://recallsharp.ru/catalog/section.php?SECTION_ID=3582
This is the translation: " The rarest machine in the world. Today it is a collector's dream. The design of the mechanical "tape drive" and electronic song search is implemented in a most interesting way. Let's dwell on this in more detail and force you to take a fresh look through the murky veil of collector dogmas. The ability to connect a remote control on a "rope", which is rare for this class, is surprising, with which you can control the DPRS function (search for songs on the tape). What motivated the designers to create an incredibly complex combination is still unclear. Simple in appearance, however, it is also attractive due to the unusual bay window design of the grilles, such a solution was first used by Hitachi designers. Two-way acoustics with a phase inverter allows you to achieve interesting sound in this class of devices."
