I picked up two boomboxes recently (Aiwa CS-600U & Magnavox D8443) and wanted to open an account to start looking into how to restore them. I plan to recap both and get their cassette decks working again.
I guess that I've caught the bug. I just grabbed a JVC RC-838 JWII. It needs restoration, but the price was right and a friend in the US let me ship it to him so I can pick up on my next trip home.
