II want to say everyone hi :yes: , also have a question on JVC 838 wich is popular (im really happy with it i will post pic soon!) around here ive seen nice mods indeed here specially lights! lol just a quick question to anyone, does JVC838 Turn on VU meters light on whet you push down battery check? as adefault unmodified version, thank you in advance!!!! and ho pe to meet nice ppl here!!

Im From Argentina 34 Years old im really bonded to music specially electronic, i buyed JVC 838 For 100 us you can coment on price its really good state some minor marks, front is pristine also having some trouble with the bifonic key... on this one not working properly i though of using contact cleaner... dunno if a good idea lol im a newbie..

Ty all for any help on this im glad to be here!!

Also ordered some weird hitachi product assambled here in my country it will be nice to have your opinions on this!

Thank you Rely from my google search there are several models including a mark II aparently and a victor branded so weird model hi My oh my!

Sorry for the spelling guys, i can teach easy spanish but not a genius when it comes to english lol, also have some others JVC here the avg price is 100 us for a decent contition unit, will post a picture of them as soon as i complete cleaning also the plan is to make them better somehow we will see!!

Your English is absolutely fine! Welcome to the forum. The 838 is a really nice box, I love how they look. Switch cleaner solves the majority of issues with a box so it’s akways the first step to try :-)

thanks again, this forum looks great will post some pics after cleaning and ask again about lights issue i think vumeters didnt light up by default will be nice if someone can confirm!
