Hello everybody.
Hello. I don't seem to find any better place where to post my request for help.
I need to open my RX-DT505. I follow the instructions in the service manual and I remove the six indicated screws from the back side. Nothing else is said to be done in order to remove the front cabinet. But I can't. Something is still preventing me from removing it. Can you help me with possible causes? Thanks in advance. Regards.
(I forgot to say that I have previously removed the handle. Just in case......)

Are you sure the two claws are being disengaged?

Here we come to a good point. I did read in the service manual about those two claws. BUT....... I can not find them!
Thanks.

You can't see the "claws", they are inside the cabinet & called claws but you can think of them as hooks. I'm guessing you will likely have to tap the cabinet upwards while carefully spreading it to disengage them.

Actually from the diagram, I don't think you're going to see them. The way it shows hands gripping the bottom, and the arrow pointing up, makes me think you just have to give it some upward force and it will pop off.

what you do is remove the top seam first working around the box...the bottom will come away as those claws just clip in there and are not really important but you need to pull with some force on the top seam first

here is a vid the gentleman posted over there
done many eggs just not this one
