I heard this AMAZING dub track on online radio station (Dub Xtra) on the weekend and I'll be buggered if I can find it anywhere to buy or download.
I emailed the station and they didn't even know where they got it from and said it was probably a Jamaica only release or some such nonsense.

Hunted google and soulseek high and low and can't find diddly!

The track is called Woodcutter Version and it's by Sanchez

If you guys have any leads or ideas you'd make me very happy.

Haha! I just got an email off a rare reggae store giving me that information
and just found that auction and came here to post it!

But the Badger's done all the work already!

This WILL be going on the Boomboxery Comp Tape if I can get it here in time!!

Thanks Claret!

Most Jamaican singles have a 'version' side, often it is only arguably 'dub' more of an instrumental rather than a creative blend of effects (echo, reverb etc) and working the mixing board to drop vocals and instruments in and out of the mix.

That said, even the most rudimentary 'version' sides are treasures to be discovered.
