I have found this pretty cool boombox with built in black/white TV from Philips. When cleaning and rebelting it, I made two interesting discoveries. First, it is completely made by Sharp! There are Logos on the boards and on the speakers. Leading to my first question: Is there a Sharp equivalent to this box? I have looked at different pictures, the closest are the Sharp 5P-37 or the Tri-Mate 5000 but they don't really fit with the buttons and knobs on top and all. Just curious.
The second discovery were the markings inside the chassis with the production year, see picture. But I can't really figure out the year, only that it was produced in October. Anybody knows what these markings mean? I really would like to know when this one was made. I hate to have it right infront of me and not being able to interpret it correctly. The service manual floating around on the internet is from August 1981 by the way.
