Come on Ira, where's the rest of the story. That's NO kind of ending, true or not. Where'd you learn your story telling abilities? That's the kind of ending that'll make the audience moan in a theatre. Tell us, Who has the 7700 and what was the verdict on it? Now you KNOW that I wanna know.
One thing about 7700's is that they tend to have staticy controls, as much, perhaps more so than other boomboxes.

i shipped it to him -
and he thought it was an overall decent deal.

ebay for 12 or even 18 months --
then -- all of a sudden ---- 3 will pop up in one month-
the panny 7700 is one of those
like WHEN is the last time we saw one on USA ebay ????

Hadn't thought about that in a while Ira but I don't remember when the last one was, seems like it has been a while.
Very true though they tend to come in bunches.
Well, I noticed that many boomboxes, or ebay stuff in general, comes from Florida.
I also noticed that when I sell stuff on ebay, a disproportional amount of sales to go Floriday, enough so that a few times, I wondered if I was being scammed. It wasn't the case, all sales went fine but got me thinking -- does 1/2 the nation's population reside in Florida or does that state just love ebay??

a year goes by and - nothing --2 days later --LOOK !!!
anyhow -- this one is a WAY WAY overpriced POS
plus - member johnny got a bad deal from this seller --
so - hope all will avoid it !!

Agreed, this "GRAIL" has not been taken care of, and parts are non-existent. Good luck on finding another "parts" unit. In fact, if anything, this one should be priced as a "parts" unit instead.
