Greatest Superbowl Halftime shows???

Okay, the light show was much better than the performance yesterday (my opinion) and after shrugging my shoulders atwhat I felt was a very mediocre performance during yesterday's Superbowl, I thought it would be a good idea to pose the following question here:


What halftime show do you think was the best performance at the Superbowl?

For me, it was Prince... capped off with him singing Purple Rain in a total downpour.

The J.Jackson and Justin Timberlake wardrobe malfunction will likely be the "most remembered," but I don't think Prince's actual performance a few years ago will ever be topped.

The top 3 for me would be

1. Prince
2. Paul McCartney
3. Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers

MJ did halftime in '93...

I've watched pretty much every superbowl since the mid-80's and I actually remember that somewhat...

Same here my man Prince rocked that Superbowl! :yes:

I've posted this video on a previous thread but here it is again it's Prince, Tom Petty, ELO and others paying tribute to George Harrison the song which he wrote "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" it's an awesome performance from Prince! :thumbsup:

If I were doing a top-three list, I would have picked:

1) Prince
2) U2
3) Rolling Stones

Thanks for that Bill just reading those names gives me chill up my spine, I hope those who are still alive and were involve on this tragedy will have to answer to the one up in the heavens!!!!!!!

How can they sleep at night!
