In the summer 2011 I bought a brown Telefunken Hifi Studio via ebay and then picked it up personally in Berlin where I lived at the time. The state was not that great but then again the price was not high. The seller said he couldn't find the battery door but he would contact me if he found it. Yeah, a lot of people say that. But guess what, last week - after a year and a half - he found it and mailed it to me
It's good to see there still are some great guys out there

i dust did the same thing --
sold a big bose box --then shipped it -
then a year later --stumbled on the original sales receipt, manuals , cards etc-
bet the buyer will be happy and surprised :angelic: :-) :-)

Isn't the battery door on the bottom on the Studio 1

So with out it, you can't even put batteries in it right   :dunce:

Yes but the sound is not as good with batteries plus the darn thing weighs a ton without batteries

Yeah, that's true. I have another one complete with battery door and I carried it to the park only once. Friggin' heavy and it just doesn't do the job in the open.
