Went over to my dad's today to help him do some stuff in his garage. Then we decided to put a stereo out there for a little chill spot. Old 90's Kenwood receiver and his Realistic T-100's he bought new in the early-mid 70's. Haven't been fired up in over 2 decades. Sound pretty good. He's gonna put a TV out there and a chair or two. Nice little spot. Stereo sounds great.

As I was moving his CDs out there I noticed some gems in his CD rack. These were the only tapes I used for mix tapes back in the 90's. Of course he gave them to me for helping him out. Sweet!

Oh,nice! Those Maxell's make great recordings and yours look to be in mint condition. Also very cool to spend some time with the old man.

I know this was the cassette section but just had to add an updated photo to my dads "control center". I'm sure more changes will be made. Ha.

Ha! I knew the first comment would be about the car. 1960 Imperial Crown. He bought it in 1978 on his 25th birthday. Been around longer than me. "One day i'll get it fixed up." Ha. It does run. He used to drive it the way it looks. Like he's Frank Zappa or something.

It wouldn't take me 24 hours to have the car running, I once worked on a car that sat for 30 years, turns out the starter solenoid was not wired right and once I fixed it she started right up , it was a rare mercury from the 60s that's all I remembered.
