Got my first "grail"

I finally convinced my friend to sell it to me
After saving for a while, I hit him with my offer of 800€ and he accepted .
Do you think it was a good deal?

It is working pretty good, all lights are good. One thing i noticed is that play has to be engaged in order for it to power on (power switch does nothing). How can I fix that?
Does anyone have a battery cover for it maybe? I have a piece of cardboard there right now. It also looks like there used to be some other covers...i think where the lights are connected? Correct me if I am wrong.
I am kind of afraid to open it up .

Great . The price does not matter if you can afford it IMO. I would buy boomers for thousands if i have lot of cash and will be happy. The joy counts, not the cash .

Wow, congrats Freddy! Sounds like you got a good deal. Someone here just recently sold a Discolite for over 1200$
I will definitely check that power switch out next time we meet up
As far as I can tell from the (crappy) pic it looks great
But be careful when balancing boxes on a balcony
