I spent some major $$$$$ learning that game back in the day. Used to take my boombox with me and listen to music while I played. Pissed off the arcade owner on more than one occasion...

When I finally got to the end, killed the dragon, got the girl.... I was done.... Haven't played it in like 26 years.

Is your LD a game or just the cartoon played out in full? I have an LD player.

the disc is the one that was used inside the arcade game, my quarter eating game of choice back in the day was Gyruss, used to take quarters from dad's jar and go to everyplace local that had the game, set the high score and go to the next one, the game only accepted 3 letters for the players name so I always used my GF's name (at that time) which was PAM, highest score was over 3 million, which rolled the game over 3 times and took over 3 hours to do so. Now sometimes I play it on my laptop using the MAME program but hard to control without the arcade joystick
