Well today I was in Goodwill and I didn't have much $ but usually I can find something for cheap.
Well there must have been 14 boxes and all were mostly beat up 90's CD boxes and 2 were Panasonics,1 with line in black CD type and another Panny that had mash technology but was beat up.Normally I would have bought these and cleaned them up but I was looking for gold today! Then there was a Toshiba 80's smaller cassette box but I already had the same model but in better condition.
So after a little more looking-I FOUND GOLD!
a Panasonic M W800 gorgeous light blue mini dual cassette box!!! It's all there and all working but is missing a rewind key for left deck.
It still works but is just missing the key.=Anyone??!
These are so frikkin cool,4 speakers and 2 tweeters, speakers on top and front!!
Plus the color!!!! Man I finally hit the jackpot!! Not a large one but nonetheless this is so clean it won't take much to mint this baby out!!
Anyone else here have 1 of these??!! I know Ira has one I bet?! This blue color is quite striking!
And only $2.99!!
Yay me!!!
On another note:I was camping last weekend in the Chippewa river south of Eau Claire at a huge party and I just happened to be told that I was the life if the party as I started it out right with the Sharp GF-9797E cranking out some rare 80's tapes for all to enjoy outside at the Tiki Bar!!
I had the Aiwa 660H in the tent hooked up to my DVD player and I-Phone and CD player for some seriously nice sound enjoyment in my tent!!
What a weekend!!! 68 Friday,66 Saturday,68 Sunday, lows as cold as 45-47!!! Absolutely loved it-had a sweatshirt on all 3 days and a jacket at night!!!!!!! Coldest late July ever!!!!! Loved it,partied and the boomboxes were used and loves by all!! Photos when I can!
Havana good week!!!!
