GOLDSTAR TSR-580 LED METER WORKS BACKWARDS

I have a GOLDSTAR TSR-580. When I raise the volume the led meters go down. It looks like it's working backwards. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be? :'-(

do you mean the lights get dimmer the louder you crank it , or they are pointing in the wrong direction ? might be installed upside down , or the polarity to the led is backwards ,and those are my two guesses .

The number of leds increase from left to right. but when I go passed half volume they decrease back to 0 ( left ).

Your better off trying to show us in video. So it starts left to right then when you raise volume it works from right to left

Maybe the amps are too weak to power both the speakers and the meters

Yes that was the first thing I did plus dioxed all switches and pots.

WOW!!! Cleaned and dioxed volume pot again. LEDs working.
