GF777 Aerial connection?

Hi,

Removing the rear cover, the aerial and wires are all attached to it. However there does not appear to be a physical connection between the 2 aerials to any other part of the unit, should there be?

It doesn't pick up as many stations as I would expect it to, but that might be unfamiliarity on my part, does anyone have a picture to show how the aerial connection works under the covers?

Problem solved, found 2 black wires that didn't go anywhere, someone must have removed the connection previously, they connect to the aerials.
