Nope, Not a Grail by any standard, but for $9.00 how could I say no

I found this at one of our local thrift stores where I have had some luck in the past. Tested it at the shop and it powered up. Brought it home and dug straight into it. Rebelted both decks, fully working now, line in is good, radio sounds clear. I needed to put an antenna and antenna base on it. I had to deoxit the EQ and Volume Sliders. Now it's all fully working.

It's got some good features as well. Dolby NR, High Speed Dubbing, LED VU Meter, 5 Band EQ, Metal Cassette Play Back.

I have to say, this thing gets REALLY LOUD. It's no bass monster, but for out door use, this thing can really hold it's own!

Dibs On The Fisher

After I cleaned up this unit, I came in, smiling from ear to ear and my wife says "So, you gonna sell it now" :-/

Then she just saw Stereomann's post and she yells out "SEE You Got a Buyer" :nonono:

She says "Tell him $11, plus shipping and it's his"    (She wants to make $2  )

This radio is LONG, 24.5 inches, when I was in the store, there was a lady trying to get past me in the isle, I didn't see her behind me, she says to me, "Can you move your big radio"   I love it

Very nice!!
I have a similar one that's bi-amped and bi-wired
It's insanely loud!!!!!! :-O

These are VERY LOUD....I was very surprised. Once I got the volume sliders cleaned and the speaker jack plugs cleaned and was able to really crank it up, I was shocked on how loud it is.

It has a line in, so this radio will get some use for sure!

I've scooped a few of these reworked them and gave away to kids. But I'll tell ya' what...they are great utility boxes to have when do around the yard stuff or washing the car when you want low risk/chance of loss  decent sound.

ive had one very similar to that over here in the uk,and i agree its no bass beast, but it can hold its own against similar rivals........getting right back into later black boxes now so will have to keep my eyes peeled for another!

Nice catch! :-)
Looks like it's about the same size as my Panny RX-CW43.
Should turn a few heads and you won't lose any sleep carrying it around.
Best of both worlds!

nice find! u can't beat $9 unless u pay $8

I've found a few fisher boxes, I'm guessing cause they were a more low-mid level priced box when released :hmmm: they do sound really good though.
