Hi everyone,I went to the flea market this morning
for the first tune this year and just saw a couple of eggs
and nothing really good until I was almost at the
last stand and there was this 'big boombox'!
It is a Magnavox 8443 PowerPlay 5 speaker 3 amp
boomer in great condition with working batteries included!!
All works except tape deck doesn't do anything.
Antenna is mint and it has line in and out and
Hook up for mics.
I figure I'll have to go in and check out the deck and see
why the deck isn't going.Has a line in switch on the side to.
Very nice,decent sound,kind of bassy but not super
great above 2/3.but for $11.10 I couldn't go wrong!!

Kind of a cool unit, excellent condition!:)

It's a nice one Jeff and congrats. But as was said earlier about the line in, you'll need to be in record mode to utilize it. :afro:

SMALL FM TRANSMITTER!!!

That's all you need to crank this badboy up....I got an FM transmitter for less that $3.00 on eBay including shipping!

This thing is in amazingly good condition.
That's what I thought about the line-in on this.
Kind of bassy in the low end.
That's a 8" er in there!:)

Great find Jeff. Your cassette deck problem will most likely be a bad main gear. It's a RITZ CRACKER. Don't worry, you can buy a new gear from "VINTAGE VOLTS". I have his new gear in mine and it works great.
