Thanks. It is a GF700, it is very, very long. On top is its baby brother, GF7, a great sounding mini, both high build quality.

I have had the privilege of owning some of the biggies you have.
I just Got a Clairtone 7979 from a guy in Canada about a month ago it is a gem .
Big Rush Fan here too BTW !!! Way to go :thumbsup:

unsure, I've seen other pics of this radio where behind the grill the area surrounding the speakers looks more blue than mine, my favourite part of this hobby is finding these things in thrift stores, I picked this one up in a value village for $9.99 cdn and it works perfectly, even the deck, funny how the tuner won't let you go up past 107.9 back to 87.9 or vice versa, you can only scale up and down to the ends

anyway I can tell just by looking without removing the back to verify if the speakers are original?

unfortunately for some reason it sounds as if it is only coming through in mono, really loud but something is definitely missing, tape works awesome though

the 7979 is awesome, I can't get my clock to display anything though, any tricks to it?

Awesome collection dude; from another big Rush fan! and yes I agree with you about 'Beyond The Lighted Stage' as well.....a perfect 'how-to' video for making the world's coolest band...........
