First box! Panasonic RX-5010

Just picked up my first ghettoblaster!!!
some nicks here and their.. but cant be perfect i guess
just gave her a quick wipe down
everything works except the cassette tape.. any ideas on how to fix it? i already replaced the band? seems like no power is going through. a resistor or something?
and im missing the back battery cover

but anyways, here are some pics!

any information on this box you guys like to share would be greatly appreciated lol
all i know is that its from 1981?
and yes, i think the panasonic word is painted over? since its suppose to be chrome?

congrats, this was also my 1st new boombox in 83-84 and my 1st purchase when I started collecting in 2008 as for deck you should check power at motor, should be about 9v
