This went up for sale 6 months ago. My offer was denied. It never sold. Now resurfaced. Did not sell again. Offered my original offer and saved 200. Now all I need is the 909 to complete my series. I'll swap out the tabs and knobs on this to make it look really good.
Nice!.... How would it look if the woofers and speakers were white?

Thank God!!! nothing is broken and Nothing loose inside the radio. The heat made the dust caps sink, hope I can non touch vacuum them out.

Tuner test and back to work to earn a living. Needs a good cleaning and the back and sides couls use a repaint. Happy the face id area language markings are not scratched away. Good strength as well

That was a close one... That hole in the package made me cringe. Another great box to add to the collection  Congrats!

I was near giving up. I'm done with sheet packed sheet. But this should be an easy clean up. It will likely be a year before I get to it. I will however ampstand it outside a little :stereo:

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee careful!!! A vacuum is a deadly weapon to a dust cap. ;-) I grenaded a nice Tele Studio dust cap that was pushed in. Vacuum, it was. Never again.

Be prepared to re-cap them. :hmmm:

Found it on 1 of the old threads I dug up. You know how I dig the up
I tried that thread. Couldn't get enough suction 'cause the tube kept collapsing, so I tried it without the tube.

Big mistake. Glad it worked for you! We still have a viable method of pulling these out! Just takes more caution than I exercised. How strong was the vacuum you used? I still have some pushed in ones that need repairing. :-D

Actually, after reviewing my thread, I used a mag light tube. Don't remember why, but it didn't work. That's when I moved on to another method, and POOF, no dust cap.
