just finished watching this doc about the men who fought ali. what a great film and it really took me back to the days where we would crowd around the big old console tv and listen to howard call these classic battles. seeing all these boxers ravaged from the passing of time and brutal nature of there fighting days was quite something.
i never really got into ufc i tried but really none of it could really come close to the 1970s era of the heavy weight boxing battles.
thinking back to those times amazing is it not. no pay tv no paying money to see the fight. i am unsure if we can ever get back to a era like that.
seeing all those guys retell those tales was pretty fantastic. great doc if you havent seen it and love boxing you should check it out.
