Estate sale find: 1980's BNIB General electric ?

Bought this General electric walkman at an estate sale a few months back for $5 bucks.
I dont know the model or year. It is brand new in box never opened.
Is it any good ?

Hey Robb, the model is 3-5470s, it's printed next to the walkman on the right of the packaging.

A quick google image search provided this pic of another one in its original packaging, which sold on eBay.
