ok ok ok i know i said i was out and done with the recent m70 aquistion.
however just rev up the exusatron 9000,bandmate comes over this morning.
shows up with his guitar and well niether of us was really feeling much like tracking anything today so we both decided to make a thrift store run of thrift store runs.
yes he is a thrift store hound too but him and i both collect things totally different from eachother so it works out pretty good.to make a long story short i hit seventeen thrift stores today between here and chilliwack and well.
its pretty dry out there for used electronics of any worth. a few interesting sets of speakers here and there but nothing really cool.
interesting to note tho as we got further aways from the city the prices went lower and lower on somethings.
somethings out of wack tho i mean old furniture just outrageously priced right now.
could have scooped some pretty nice early pioneer 5.1 recievers but not my thing.
no boomboxes of any worth in the travels. i mean i just dont buy the eggs of the nineties. not my thing at any price really.
unless its a cobra top of merit i am just not down with them.
a couple of the lack luster sonys of the same era i just was really surprised at how skimpy the pickings were. this was the morning time and there was little to no traffic on the roads.
so all in all we traveled probably two hundred or so miles today and not a single boomer worth grabbing. been a while since any 80s boomers have been seen on the shelves around here.

Dang bill that's a uber trip, 200 miles and 17 thrift stores. I'm not surprised by what you found, dissapointed yes but not surprised. So it appears your rural stores price items lower, I'm going to have to pay attention to that and see if it's the same around me although I doubt I'll drive 200 miles to do it.
