I'd never do it. Part of this hobby's fun is the people I've met (in person and on line).

I guess a gold Conion doesn't turn my crank enough...

There isn't a single boombox that would make me disappear, it's just a plastic box that certainly could be cool but would likely get boring pretty quick if it was just the two of us.
Friends who share similar passions and the interaction with them is what makes this hobby so outrageously cool, without you guys and boomboxery boomboxes would just be cool plastic antiques from my youth.
