There also seems to be more sellers not giving enough facts about what they are selling. I got a box where they stated minor signs of use but when I got it there was pitting everywhere in the chrome, and you cant see it in the pics plus they did not send the cord and the deck door was broken.

eBay is certainly a riskier place than it was a few years ago.
There are still plenty of good buyers and sellers but the bad ones are ruining it for all of us.

When dealing with sellers, you better keep one eye on that feedback score before you bid or buy.

Also, checking out the feedback comments that the seller or buyer gets can give you some insight as to who you're dealing with.

Yeah, right, "minor signs of use." :annoyed:
For my last "E-Pain" purchase, "minor signs of use" ment that batteries had leaked all over the inside, the tweeters were wired incorrectly (and didn't work) and the fuction switches all had to be cleaned - just to test the unit. It sucks when it takes you all that cleaning and troubleshooting just so you can find out how she sounds, for crying out loud.

Gotta admit, though, that this particular SK-550 rocks. :breakdance: You can actually see the dust fly off it as you turn up the volume.
Next is the "Full Patron w/ a half twist." (Baking soda solution bath for the excess battery acid...) :annoyed:

That really sucks... ...that is why I try to buy from members as often as possible.

I know you can't do that with every radio, because if you did just buy from members, you might be lessening your selection...

Hasn't happened to me yet! :-P

I am sick and tired of sellers that stretch the truth, outright lie and pack like assholes. And then hide behind insurance. I am currently dealing with an $850 screw job myself. :annoyed:
