Early Kabooms w/ Cassette Decks...

Wondering about Kabooms...have one, looking for parts, & there's a RV B-55 BU on the bay that I think has a power supply that would fit my Victor.

Anybody know anything about those early Kabooms? How long do the CD players last? Might be worth it just for the CD player, too.

i think that model 55 is part of the smaller // junior kaboom line --
they still sound very very good

Yes, they really do. I love the cassette deck w/ CD & remote. Wish it had more oomph on batteries, though.

The CDs last long. The only issue i can remember about the early kabooms was the burned backlight on the dial. Not biggie tho.I owned 2 and on both the light went out The CD work like workin horse.

Congratzz! This is basically the same box as the RV-B550 with the only difference that the B550 has a transparant(clear) case and additional disco lights in the conus from the speakers...i need the tuner -print from one of these because i have a box that has fallen to the ground and the print is broken now so the tuner is only producing noise and no music at the moment..btw the power-supply will fit in your Victor for sure!
