dream boxes

Does anyone else dream about boomboxes? In the past couple of weeks I've dreamt of being given an m90, a Technisonic 999, a JVC M71 and last night a nice red Sharp double cassette mini. I love that the boxes in my dreams are actual pieces, not just a configuration resembling a generic boombox.
Does anyone else dream about them? (I mean actually dream, not daydream )

I have lots of repeating things in my dreams, like versions of places that I see in my dreams very often. And many of them I've dreamt about for the last 20 years or so.
In my dreams I always see a Sharp that I can't place. Now, when I first started collecting it was this was a fantasy one piece box with a massive amount of buttons.
From the last couple of years when I see it in my dreams I try to work out what all the buttons and functions are for.

It's a really cool box, not what I'd call my 'dream box' by my own design, but it's very cool. Whenever I have dreams where I'm travelling or shopping I always go to the same second hand shops in my dreams and often see this box. A couple of times I've seen it with different coloured one.

I've often got into an argument with the person selling it, telling them it can't be a real, as it's not like any other Sharp I've seen. But I never have enough money to buy one.

I'll try and remember the details next time so I can make it up in photoshop.

I have dreamt about 'actual' boxes too, but not as much as this one.

Hey,
I had one this night actually,
I was is some exotic warm country like Croatia, and I was walking around with this guy in the streets, We went to an ice cream bar or something and there was a beach out the window. Also it was apparently boombox collecting day or something because there were like 20 boxes setup like a wall outside. I ran down and began to push the buttons of a Sharp GF 777, some JVC model and an Intersound superjumbo. I played something really loud on the superjumbo and everybody loved it. It had lots of buttons and lights and stuff. I took it to the beach later and all the babes in bikinis flirted with me .
Also had several dreams of being in flea markets finding sharp gf 9000, more red 777s and Lasonics for unbelievable prices.
Always sucks to wake up .

I constantly dream that I drive miles out of town to this remote thrift store.
On my way in the door a man is leaving with a grail in his hands.
When I get to the electronics section there is only VHS rewind machines and old computer monitors.

I've had dreams about boxes that don't even exist, like a white double cassette deck (side by side) Conion C-100F/Lasonic TRC-975 hybrid from an electronics store (that doesn't exist) at the mini strip of stores across the street from my home (that does exist)... The box was dope!!

Had a dream of being at a flea market/thrift store type place and rummaging thru weird/ugly looking boxes that were barely/not working...

The most recent dream I had was a month or so ago, about walking by an electronics store in a close-by neighborhood and spotting a big black box (Super Jumbo sized) that was brand new and never seen before in reality... Extremely hard to describe what it looked like but it had clear woofers reminiscent of my Paradigm speakers... Anyway, I went inside to look and listen to it, liked it and as I was paying for it, I woke up!

I've also had a few dreams about walking around with strange versions of boxes I own like the TC-999 and TRC-920, where the boxes look only halfway like they do in real life with weird-ass tweaks here and there... I've NEVER had a dream about a box that looks EXACTLY the way it looks in reality.

Last december I had a dream where i was diggin in one of those big 20ft long dumpsters behind a local bar and found a couple big black boxes like Super jumbo.. I jumped out of the dumpster and put em on the handlebars of my BMX bike (with a blanket over them so nobody knew what i had) and rode off.. The blanket over the front of my bike was looking like a giant sail on a boat!

once i dreamed of a big black lasonic that was laid out like the gf 777 only with 4 ,8 inch woofers all with the chrome lasonic grills and the top of the box was angled like the helix hx 4636 , all 4 woofers were flush with the front case and the decks sat above the woofers .the decks were the type used in the 931 and they were positioned in the center and it had trc 931 led lights flanking both decks . the tuner section was at the top above the decks and the tweeters flanked each end of the tuner scale .

the handle was not very long but the box was about 34 inches long by 16 inches tall.
damn that box was bad ass .

I thought I was the only one

Most of my dreams about radios occur when I have a deal in the works and I cant wait to get the new radio.

I almost always dream about radio's that are real.

Lately, because I have only been working on radios and not procuring radio's, I have only been dreaming about getting them up and running

Since the woman moved in with 2 kids, I had to convert the basement ( where the boxes were) to a bedroom and a den. The boomboxes are now in my bedroom and I see them every night before I go to sleep. Once or twice I thought they were playing in a dream.. The bad part of the dream is whatever song was playing in the dream, stays with you all dang day and then you can't get whatever song it was out of your head!

I'm loving all these replies, each one so close to home. I wake up every single time I get a new box in the dream, whether the mood in the dream is dark or not, the moment I realise I can pay for this item or I'm walking off with box in hand(s) (sometimes they're HUGE) or when it's gifted to me... like the excitement is real enough to merit a rousal from slumber! I totally agree that when boxes or plans for boxes are on the way I dream more... and that when fixing them I also dream of this, or some nightmare when I short a cap or break a switch tip or lose a cassette key or something.. but any boxes are nice, dream, nightmare, daydream or reality

I was in some thrift stores today thinking about you Scott! The closer I got to the front door the more my anxiety level rose, thinking....If I guy comes walking out the door with an M90 I'm going to come un-glued :annoyed:

Another dream... At a huge outdoor garage sale-type secondhand store. I'm feeling a little miffed at the lack of boxes around, after all, there seems to be multitudes of every other manufactured item available..? But I see a garage door I hadn't seen before, so I walk on through and there's a whole yard of tables covered in stuff. On an old couch I spot a HUGE upside-down Akai... The proportions of an RX5350, and aside from being dirty and cigarette-stained, with scuffed cassette and tuner window (I love the details) its complete and in pretty nice condition! While inspecting it I see something out of the corner of my eye.., under a jumper lies a dusty but mint 777! I'm walking around gleefully with these beauties when I check my pockets... my €150 has somehow become waterlogged and is like paper left in the laundry... I give up trying to put it back together and decide to buy the boxes anyway and not tell my girlfriend

Many times, I dream of a street here in São Paulo knowing back in the day for have only Thift Stores (today, only computer stores) selling a variety of types and mix of boxes... ...ones that I never seen before...
