Heard it mentioned before , how thin the the sound is on these..My Breakdancer BD-8000 with 4 woofers, compared to the Sigmatech ATP-520 (all Vela inside) also with 4 woofers.. the boxes are the same size, the Sigmatech outweighs the Breakdancer by almot 5 pounds, The Breakdancer sounds thin compared to the Sigmatech and the EQ on the 520 actually boosts the bass quite well.. My Technidyne TD-7000 (made by Vela) has 2 woofers, and sounds better than the BD-8000 .. The speaker boxes amplify the bass quite well..just an fyi in case those who are interested in having one to make an informed decision. The lights on the Breakdancer have less leds than the 520- the 520 has no lites in the woofers..the 7000 has 120 LEDS plus there are lights in the woofers as well.Have a good one!

The lights on the Breakdancer beat the Sigmatech hands down. Have a good night everyone!

To be honest, I am really not sure about that! :hmmm:
I've had the two running side by side and there is a lot more going on on the front of the Sigmatech (Vela DK9000 in my case). With some songs the 4 big lights on the regular one are just always on and do not really vary in brightness a lot. When you have a good input source that is balanced from the sound level, you are gonna have a blast on the normal one! The lights turning on and off is fun to watch but when it comes to radio for example, the Sigmatech really wins the price imo
