Hey guys! Need a little favour if anyone can help me out.

Getting a little tired of my boxes scattered over the house and worse yet stored in cupboards *gasp*, so about to build me a rather epic display cabinet to dominate my lounge room......so monstrous once it's built my girlfriend won't be able to move it out of the centre of our room haha!

Anyways I've obviously got the dimensions for the boxes I own but while I'm building I'm intending to make the alcoves for the boxes I'm yet to acquire.

Can anyone give me some dimensions for the following please (with handle up):

The Sanyo Big Ben
JVC RC-M90 (yes I have big dreams LOL)
JVC RC-M70
Dynasty Disco-lite

There could be more but that'll be a good start :)

Thanks in advance!

And what's the deal with the goddamn M-90's??? Who's got em all hey? I haven't seen one for sale in ages.

13" H w/handle down
15" H w/handle up

Discolite

EXCELLENT.

I don't have an M90 or Big Ben, but I can tell you, they will be smaller than that VZ!

And lighter I hope too.......might need a building permit and the assistance of an engineer for structural support if any more weigh like the big VZ!!!

No worries, the VZ is about the heaviest thing out there. Not exactly a "Top Shelf" storage box

Still in the design stage atm......bouncing a few ideas off my carpenter mate to make it cat proof yet maintain accessibility. Plus being a sparky by trade it'd be remiss of me not to incorporate some sort of LED illumination into this build......my current plan is that each unit will sit inside its own cube, the base of the cube that the Boombox sits on will be softly illuminated, and I'll possibly put a glass/Perspex door on each cube for cat protection......or just somehow electrify the whole construction to teach the bastard cats a lesson in Boombox respect, I haven't decided yet ;)). And as for painting it I'm hoping to source a local graffiti artist to give it a touch of 80's/Bronx/oldskool hip hop flavour.
This plan is highly likely to change tho as all great works of art do LOL.
