Tried to find a boomer, but this is what I ended up with... You should have seen the crowd behind me eager to buy it if I didn't!
Not bad for $50.

I'm really trying to find one, but it's tough. It's written in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc...

I have isolated it to a Nishijin Model B. There were A, B, and C models, A being in the 50s. There are plastic parts, but I really have no idea. It looks to be in pretty good shape so far and from a couple videos showing commonly missing parts, I noticed I have all those. So that's good. It's just really dirty. I took those photos as soon as I got it home, but the inside just has dust spilling out of it. It looks like art deco design though. So, far if I'd have to guess, I'd say 1960s, but my guess isn't worth much.

I've been playing with these all week! They have Slot / Pachinko Casino's here in Okinawa. Lots of fun!

I had a friend when I was a kid (10-11 years old) that had one and I played it for hours on end, would love to own one!

I spent most of the day after I got it home carefully removing dirt, cigarette tar, and grime from some of the mechanisms and she WORKS!!! I found out it is a 1974 model, same year I was born, and there's one on ebay that is very similar to mine except mine has a lot more little jackpot things than theirs and I think it's all original. It's closing today at $139.00 with 19 bids on it, so far. They have a pretty good forum for those things and helped me avoid some common mistakes when cleaning, which was a good thing. I Love Pachinko! :thumbsup: They used to have one at the local candy store and would sell you 10 balls for 25 cents. If you got a ball in the jackpot you got a bag of candy! I almost broke a tooth one day when I accidentally bit into a ball thinking it was candy.

wow i have'nt seen one of those since the late 70s when on holiday,that could be worth something,it will look nice in your living room,also a good talking point when friends visit
