That other site has a bunch of haters...every post seems to generate something negative. They don't even like each other but they hate us for some reason. They make it personal but it's only about boomboxes on this side. I check in there from time to time just to be entertained by some of their off-the-wall posts. There seems to be less and less relevant boombox info over there, but it is still entertaining....

Reading one of those threads, I think this is accurate...

The main problem is double standards, and double-faced persons.

Some of you, active in this thread, say one things on here, and say another (opposite) things on boomboxery.

Some of you even have diffrent usernames on the both sites.

I let it go a long time ago but I'll remember all the good that came from it including many of you.

I really don't understand the hate, is it just a few individuals or a complete tone set by most on the site? Either way it's petty and stupid.

Ultimately you are correct that this is just a hobby and has no bearing on the real struggles everyone faces to live from day to day. Lighten up and move on if you don't agree with somebody, if your not having fun collecting and sharing boomers then what's the point?
