My PEUGEOT made some troubles last time.
So it goes for a big service to a mate with car repair.
Only problem: this needs a few time. :hmmm:
And i need a car.

Got from pensionists hands an old LADA Forma (samara classic).
Very rare here.
Usual it would have ended on the scrap, but i will drive it the next weeks/months:

The only problem this time, the radiator is loosing a bit water.... :-/

after usage a mate of the company will export it to yugoslavia.
There it will run a few years again...
Myself i will keep the brandnew wheels for my oldtimer LADA (the white one)

btw: it has a great trunk, to store away many boomboxes....

Not a bad looking car. The rear of the car sort of reminds me of a 1980's Mercedes and the rest reminds me of a Volkswagen.

True! :agree:

There are some VW parts inside.
And the design was made by PORSCHE. :-D
It was the first LADA with frontdrive

Hopefully, the Samara won't have a fiery death like the Sputniks of the past.

Great ride  . Just remembered - Did you got the Lada mud flaps which i left for you in Germany ?

Uuups, must ask max for it. :hmmm: :w00t:

Btw: had yesterday some troubles.
Parked it for 10 minutes, tried to start again, nothing...
Checked the carburator, fuel comes.
Think troubles with the ignition.
Must look for it today.

Main problem: an old lady owned it before.
Maximum drive: 1 or 2 rides in a month!
No driving = not good :nonono:

No fire, but the engine had big troubles. :-/
Going to give it away the next day. :'-(

But i was lucky once again.
Found a pretty cool TALBOT Arizona (better known as PEUGEOT 309).
From the first owner! 1991-2012 :w00t:
And the 2 door sports version

Pic from the net, but it looks exact like this one.
Except the fog beams and another spoiler on the back

Ok, it looks faster as it is.
63HP diesel engine
But it needs only 5 liter fuel on 100km
