A while ago I made a thread about my custom 935. https://boomboxery.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7835

While I was happy with the outcome and got great feedback, I new the box had more in it.

I finished it a while ago, but I'm a procrastinator so it took me a long time to post it. I'm really happy with the outcome. Let me know what you guys think?

Good work. I prefer the grills in Black like the 975. The rounded woofers looked so factory, I missed it and kept looking back at it until the 3rd time. That's how good your work is. :yes:

975 grills should work and may be easier to fit, but if you look closely, you'll see I used 931 grills. They are the same dimensions, but nothing lines up. However, they can be made to work. Maybe some radios are different, but the plastic on my 975 is a different shade of black than the 935.

I do see the difference. It's like having a 975 with all the bells and whistles. :thumbsup:
