so today a box was spotted outside of the sea bus terminal here. the sea bus is a people ferry its part of our transit system and about the cheapest cool boat ride on the planet.
so yeah this box unleashed the full fury of the security here for the olympics. helicopters flying around bomb sniffing dogs robots and people running around with walkie talkies and yellow do not cross tape.
its just pretty over the top i mean i am a little bit concerned if they are going to act like this for a small box containing a fishing rod.
i just hope to bloody hell that someone does not leave a book of matches somewhere. i mean it kind of reminds me of the old tv show rat patrol.
you know where the gi throws a rock and the nazi looks the other way .
i kind of think if they showed the news today in black and white with old subtitles it could have been sold as a missing installment of the keystone cops.
just bloody silly.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of "them" left it there in order to display their force. You never know.

I hope you, and the rest of Vancouver, makes it safely and sanely to the other side of the Olympics.
