Unfortunately, for me, smoking and screaming over equipment on jobsites has had a negative effect on my voice. That's my own fault.

No, I do not study music at all. I was always known to do good impressions, so two years ago in February 2012, I watched a video of Kansas performing "Carry on Wayward Son" live back in the day. I wondered if I could do it, so I tried. Of course, at that time, being my first time singing, there was no way. I just kept practicing and practicing with different songs and using better singing techniques until I was finally able to hit those high rock notes you don't hear in recorded music anymore.
