first off...sorry..no pics :annoyed:
so me, my girl, and a few friends walked back to my house from a bar last night before we went to another little corner bar about 2 blocks from my house...
i really just wanted to sit on my porch...drink some beer and listen to a boomer like usual but my buddy and his girl really wanted to take us to this new bar...
soooo i decided i was gonna bring my m90
of course my girl and his girl said" you guys go ahead...we'll meet you there""...
i said "fine...lets dip" ..cuz you mght be embarrassed...but i sure as hell aint
so me and my buddy walked in the bar... i set it on the a table behind me while i sat at the bar and just scoped the place out...
there was only about 5 or 6 people in there at that time and of course all of them were staring at it...
then the bartender came over and said "dude...thats fn awesome"
so after i bought a beer i asked the bartender if i could pay him to turn the jukebox off and let me turn my radio on
he said "sure...as soon as that guy's songs are done playin....but you dont have to pay me as long as you play somethin good"
awesome...big tip for him
so a minute later the girlfriends walk in....then 5 minutes later a bachelor party of 10 comes in for their last stop of the evening...5 minutes after that some of their girlfriends walk in...

so now theres like 20 some people in this little corner bar and its gettin a little louder...
guy's songs are done playin....bartender looks at me and says "go for it"
so i put the Black Keys Pandora station on...put the volume at 5 and he turns the jukebox off the very second Everlasting Light comes blarin through those beautiful blue speakers...
trust me...that m90 had noooo problem fillin that bar room up with some loud rockin tunes...some black keys, white stripes, jimi hendrix, the strokes..etc..etc
everybody was lovin it...tons of stares and nods and head bobbin....really good vibes all the way around....
i looked at my girlfriend and my buddy's girl and said "so...you still embarrassed?"
my girl just smiled and my buddy's girl said "GZ...you're pretty fn awesome"
i said " yeah...im well aware".....thanks mostly to my m90 of course
after about an hour of some serious m90 bumpin...i nodded to the bartender and he turned the jukebox back on....i grabbed my boomer and my girl and waded through the sea of admirers and walked on home...
good times...
i usually take my boomers to get-togethers at friends' houses...but ive never taken a boomer to a bar....
i guarantee it wont be the last time either......
